Speak Out Against Domestic Violence

Avon #Speaksout against #DomesticViolence!

This is one of the main reasons I love the Avon company so much!  This is a cause very near and dear to my heart. The Avon Foundation for Women created "Speak Out Against Domestic Violence".  In their efforts to help they raise awareness, educate, and improve prevention and direct service programs.  They have provided several millions of dollars to this cause.

My next goal is to do a fundraiser for my local domestic violence prevention program and shelter.  (This will be my first fundraiser,  so stay tuned for details/results.)  There are so many things these shelters need.  When someone is displaced out of their home in an emergency situation they do not have time to grab many belongings.  So until they can retrieve their things (if they even can) they sometimes have nothing. No clothes, toothbrush,  food, deodorant,  money.  In some situations it is all gone.  All of this adds up to A LOT of money. Most programs and shelters rely heavily on donations, fundraisers, and volunteers.
I encourage all of you to #SpeakOut!  Volunteer, donate, do fundraising, educate yourself, and then educate others!

Avon Fundraiser for March of Dimes

I am officially doing my first Avon fundraiser!  Not only am I excited to be furthering my Avon business, it is a foundation and cause that is very personal to me and that I am extremely passionate about. The March of Dimes.

This amazing foundation does so much for babies and their families....  research, prevention, treatment,  education, funding. My twin nieces were born far too early... and almost taken far too soon.  Both were a little over 1 pound at birth.  After 3 months in the NICU of being on ventilators (life support), feeding tubes, I.V.'s, heart monitors, breathing monitors, oxygen monitors, incubators, medicines, and far too many close calls... they got to come home. Thanks to all of the things this wonderful foundation does... I have two, alive and very healthy, nieces.  (Who are 17 years old now!!)

If you would like to shop my online Avon store and the profits go to this fundraiser, please contact me and I will do that as well.

Help us save babies... shop or donate today!
