Avon Vendor Event

Today I participated in my first Avon vendor event!
I am going to be straight forward and honest, as I usually am.  It wasn't my favorite thing to do!
It was fun because I was doing what I love... Avon!  However, I wasn't a big fan of some of the other vendors.  There was about a total of 20-30 vendors present.  I will say this... *most* of them were wonderful!  However, there is no need to be rude or condescending to a "competitor".  PLEASE remember that as an Avon rep.. and when you do encounter this (and you will!) do not stoop to their level.  Just smile and keep doing your thing, this will attract people to your table even more!          :) :) :) :)
Seriously... just keep smiling... (and quoting Molly Stone Bibb here).. ONWARD!

How to sell Avon

Looking for the best way to sell Avon and be successful in your Avon business?
I'm an Avon independent sales representative from Point Pleasant, WV.  I've been with Avon for less than a year.  I'm able to work from home, and I'm already getting into leadership with Avon.
The best way to sell Avon for me has been to get the word out.  It's that simple.  You can't sell it if people do not know you have it.  You cannot offer the opportunity if people do not know about it.
So wear your Avon products, pass out your brochures, post it on social media, start a blog, call or text everyone you know, put decals on your car, put a sign in your yard..... however you would like to do it, just get the word OUT!
And never assume that someone would not be interested... they may turn out to be your best customer or downline member yet!  Present your opportunity to them and let them decide for themselves!

Can you make money selling Avon?

I've been asked this same question frequently... do you make any money with Avon?  There's a few ways I could answer that question.  In short, yes I do. BUT...

It all depends.  Avon is definitely not a get rich quick scheme.  How much you make depends all on how much effort you put forth.  Are you joining to get the discount, to make a few extra dollars, or to make it your full time business and only income?  You can do all of the above, it solely depends on you.

Selling to some family and friends alone, my sales awards are staying over $300.00 easily (and not all of my family even knows I sell Avon yet!).  Imagine if you are tossing brochures, tailgating, going to events, talking to people everywhere you go, marketing online, going door to door, going to businesses, and so forth... how much you could increase your income.

I, with all of my heart, believe Avon can be someone's only source of income... with effort!

So my not so easy answer is... it all depends on YOU!  You have to work hard, believe in yourself, and put forth your best effort.  But it's doable!

My first Avon blog!

     Welcome to my Avon blog!  A little confession first... I've never done a blog.  So bare with me.  I may not know blogging (yet!), but I do know Avon.. so it may be worth sticking around! lol
     I'm excited to bring you information on sales, reviews, products (existing and new), online only deals, and more.  I will be discussing and reviewing beauty and skincare products as I buy and try them for myself.  
     I've learned there's a lot of tips and tricks to being an Avon Independent Sales Representative.  I hope to share some of these with you along the way, for new reps or those of you interested in joining.  It's definitely a learning experience.  If you want to sell your products, you have to know your products.
